WP lightbox pop video link not working !!!

  • All of the video pop-up link on our site has stopped working

    We use the Brooklyn | Creative Multipurpose Responsive WordPress Theme – https://themeforest.net/item/brooklyn-responsive-multipurpose-wordpress-theme/6221179

    At first we assume that it had something to do with the slider revolution plugin but after contacting their customer support they told us it was the third party plugin we use for videos which is WP lightbox plugin.

    They also said

    I have checked your slider and found that you are using some other third party plugin to show video. https://monosnap.com/file/ZC2tTf1Jn0mSY3eqcr9gr71Vn186Ay issue is not related to slider plugin but your thirdparty plugin or shortcode you are using to load video which is actually loading video via https:// instead of https:// which blocked by your server because you tried to load insecure url on your secure server https://monosnap.com/file/uLE1DEYRm0SdweBxSkcDWh62PBB47j To fix this issue, you need to contact the developer who has developed the shortcode you are using inside slider and ask them to load videos via https:// because your site is on secure server and loading any insecure url will be blocked by your secure server.

    Can you please assist us in getting our video’s to work on our site?

    also we’ve tried downgrading WP Lightbox to older version, down to 1.8.5
    based on a response that we saw another person who was having the same problem and that didn’t seem to work either ??

    Hi, can you do a plugin/ theme conflict test?

    For example: Disable all other plugins then carry out a test. If that does not work, can you test one of WordPress default themes like Twenty Seventeen and carry out a test. Let me know how you go.

    We’ve tried that already, there doesn’t seem to be any conflicting plugin, this seem to happened when we got our SSL certificate
