    Hello,

I can’t login to my WP site (it’s an www.ads-software.com blog, self-hosted) because I get notification that my IP is blocked by Jetpack. However, the IP that is mentioned is not actually mine (108.167.172.195, registered in San Jose, US). My IP address is 192.168.1.59 in Portugal.
I’ve read other answers. I’ve logged in to WordPress.com but I can’t find the button My sites because I don’t have any sites there. It just says – ”create new site” and ”you don’t have any sites created yet”. So I can’t edit any settings there and whitelist my IP.
I’m not good with coding and I don’t dare to touch the php. file. Could you please let me know what to do?

    Thank you.

    Best,
    Tea

    Hey there,

The IP address may appear different if your site is behind a reverse proxy(it would most likely be setup on your hosting providers server). We can fix that for you on our end. I have made the update, and it can take about 5 minutes to take effect. Please let us know if you continue to have any issues or questions.

    Thanks

    Hello,

I am also having the same issue. I keep getting locked out and the IP address given is 162.144.20.158, which appears to be associated with Bluehost (which I am not affiliated with) and/or spam. Could you please assist? My site is someaveragejo.com

    Thanks!
