• Please, advise me, after an unsuccessful attempt of restoring plugins from backup (installation took too long time, didn’t move and I updated the page) I can no longer to open my website login page /wp-login/ , /wp-admin/ etc. Now every time I try to go by the address, it redirects me to some other website – advertisements, movies, games. I cleaned the cache and cookies from Chrome, but it did not change – I can’t open the login page in Chrome any more to enter the Dashboard. I tried Safari and it works well – can log in and open Dashboard. How can I fix problem with Google and redirect to other sites? Thanks!

First off, Try using Sucuri online scanner or a plugin to check for exploits and malware:

    Try:
    – deactivating ALL (yes all) plugins temporarily to see if this resolves the problem (plugin functions can interfere). If this works, re-activate them individually (one-by-one) to find the problematic plugin(s).
    – If you can’t get into your admin dashboard, try resetting the plugins folder by FTP. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems. Also remember to deactivate any plugins in the mu-plugins folder (if you have created such folder). The easiest way is to rename that folder to mu-plugins-old.
    – with ALL plugins off, try switching to the unedited default Theme (Twenty Sixteen) for a moment using the WP dashboard to rule out any theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins). If you don’t have access to your admin area, use FTP , or your web-host’s cPanel or whatever file management application your host provides (no Dashboard access required). Navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and switch to the default theme by renaming your current theme’s folder by adding “-old” to the end of the folder name. Alternately, you can remove other themes except the default theme. That will force your site to use it.

Installed Sucuri Plugin in WordPress as here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tik00dbFsSA , ran the Malware Scan check by this plugin and got this message in Safari browser.

    Warn!

Your MAC OS x has been infected by the virus, and your system is severely damaged. Require you to immediately remove the virus, and to correct them.

    Do not close this window.

** If you walk away from this window, you will be in danger! **

What is that? I didn’t have any issue before trying to restore website backup. Is it because of my several attempts to open login page and following to redirects?

Don’t even know what to do now.. Is there any Mac antivirus??

I deactivated and deleted the installed backup plugin already from Safari , now there is no other plugins except 2 default. I also deleted it from DirectAdmin Webhost panel.

    No any themes installed yet.

Since my website is very new, I didn’t even make any settings yet, will it help if I just reinstall WordPress on host server again?

Just worry about my Mac now, do I really need to make any checks?? Or it’s just a fake info, since it’s very strange that I ran scan for my website and it gave me result about my laptop…

Looks like the problem was in DNS servers: one of them was written incorrect in Domain settings and that’s what caused the problem. I changed it and now website is displayed well in Chrome.

So now the issue is with my Macbook – after running a website scan with Sucuri Plugin, the same Window quit WordPress and displayed a warning message about viruses in my Mac.

Or could it be an advertisement also caused by incorrect DNS?

I’d recommend asking your question on the Sucuri plugin support forum so the developers and user community can help you with this. The users and developers there are familiar with the plugin functionality and would be better able to answer your question.
