    Hi,

I exported my site from: site.com/blog
And I imported the backup to : blog.site.com

The new site is also on a different server.

After the import, the plugin instructed me to save the permalinks twice.

However, I was logged out of the new website, and whenever I go to blog.site.com/wp-admin.php I get redirected to the old login page site.com/blog/wp-admin.php

Anyone know how I can fix this?

    Thank you.

    EDIT:

In the database, the homeurl and siteurl are set to the old site

I can manually change them to the new url, but when I go to wp-admin, they revert back to the old urls again.

    I had two issues:

    1) My child theme had a line that defined homeurl and siteurl as the old url
    2) I had a custom plugin that caused problems

Wordpress recovery mode allowed me to fix these issues.
