wp-login / The connection was reset

Yesterday in the evening my website was running without problems. This morning nobody can login to the admin area. You can only enter your username and password. Then there is the following error message in Firefox: “The connection was reset. The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading…”. The site itself works.

In the meantime nothing has changed (plugins, updates, …).

I’ve googled and the problem arises probably more often, but none of the solutions has helped me.

The site is hosted on its own server with Ubuntu 16.04.1. All software is up to date.

Does somebody have any idea?
