wp-login.php takes me to index.php/wp-login.php

  • Had some issues with old host. changed to dedicated server, uploaded files, and uploaded version 3.5.2. via FTP.

    Now, when I login from wp-login.php, it takes me to index.php/wp-login.php which opens my index.php

    This means I cannot access Dashboard to edit/make changes/update plugins, etc.

    Yes, followed these instructions…

    “Note: If you are changing to a new server but same domain, all you need to do is edit wp-config.php with your new database/user information and upload everything as it is to your new server.”

    In fact, I used the same processes for a subdomain and it came out fine!

    The domain is: https://www.mahalasa.org
    The subdomain is: harikhandige.mahalasa.org
