wp-mail and how to get it to update automatically?!?

Hello,

I’d just like to know if anyone has figured out the “quick and easy” way of executing wp-mail automatically outside of a cron job. I’ve tried using wp-cron plugins, but I’m not ready to dive head-strong into code and create my own custom functions to do this myself. I’m sure I’m missing something, but the last 5 hours of digging have resulted in just more confusion as to how to actually get this thing to work. I can’t simply use a cron job because my host, well, he stinks and he wont get around to doing it for a month for me.

(making it able to post attachments would be nice too – but thats another thread)
