WP Mail SMTP DB tables check has failed

    Hi there, under my site health I am getting an error for this plugin. I’ve deleted the plugin and reuploaded it. It is working fine I am getting my forms but my site health is telling me the following is there anyway to fix this?

    Missing table: wp_wpmailsmtp_debug_events

    WP Mail SMTP is using custom database tables for some of its features. In order to work properly, the custom tables should be created, and it seems they are missing. Please try to re-install the WP Mail SMTP plugin. If this issue persists, please contact our support.

    Hey @kiersti,

    When you deleted WP Mail SMTP, did you have this option enabled?

    WP Mail SMTP > Settings > Misc > Uninstall WP Mail SMTP – Remove ALL WP Mail SMTP data upon plugin deletion. All settings will be unrecoverable.

    If not, try checking that box and then uninstall WP Mail SMTP. That will wipe out all data related to WP Mail SMTP so you’ll be able to essentially start completely over. This will also allow our database setup to install as it should, since it sounds like something didn’t install quite right.
