    Hi guys this is the error im having ( Everything was working fine till today, dont know why)

    EMAIL DELIVERY ERROR: the plugin WP Mail SMTP v1.8.0 logged this error during the last time it tried to send an email:

    Mailer: Gmail
    Host must be a string

    Warning: idn_to_ascii() expects parameter 3 to be integer, string given in /public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-mail-smtp/vendor/guzzlehttp/guzzle/src/Client.php on line 221

    Hi @harvis,

    Is the domain name you shared is where you have configured Gmail mailer?
    Does it have any sorts of redirects between domains? For example from blabla.com to www.alahas.com.do?
    Are you using GSuite or usual Gmail email address?
    If GSuite – are you email addresses look like [email protected] or GSuite is configured to another domain and make redirects to alahas.com.do?

    @slaffik Oh sorry i forgot to mention that im im using GSUITE with another domain [email protected]
    the domain is alahasjoyeria.com for the mail, this domain redirect 301 to to alahas.com.do

    WP Mail SMTP 1.8.1 has just been released.

    It should fix the issue with Gmail and Sendinblue mailers and “Host must be a string” error.

    Consider running an email test after fixing it.

    I downgraded to 1.7.1 till its fixed, with 1.7.1 its working
