WP Mailer spaming

  • Hi,

    I have a problem with this plugin. It seem the plugin is sending email each time we udpate a blog post. So Last time I did a small update on 10 blog post and the plugin sent 10 emails.

    As I understand the plugin have to send only on publish action not on update.

    So any solution ?

  • Hm, no answer… I just did the same, update on 10 or so posts and the plugins sent an email for each update to the subscribers. Not good.

    Is there anything we can do to persuade the plugin to NOT send emails on updates?

    Hello,

    The plugin is only developed to send on status change from Draft to Published.

    The only reason this could be happening is if you are taking it back to draft and then publishing the post again or you have another plugin which is interfering with how WordPress works.

    If yo would like to drop me an email I would be happy to log in and take a look. I will not make any changes to your wordpress it would help with the development of future versions.
