• I’m trying to set up blogging by email. I’m following the steps in the WP Wiki article on how to do this. I’ve set up the email account correctly, set up WP correctly. But when I send an email to the postaccount, wp-mail never sees it. If I set up a webmail system to look at the account, the post is there.

  • When you say ‘wp-mail never sees it’, do you mean that when you execute the script (by viewing example.com/wp-mail.php in you web browser) that it produces output saying ‘no messages found’ (or something like that)?

Or does it produce other error messages?

    It says “no messages found.”

I dunno how much help I can be, but I understand there can be problems with scripts detecting emails that have been already processed in any way by another program. For example, I understand the wp_gmail script (allowing use of Gmail) sometimes doesn’t pick up emails, even if they are marked as unread. I dunno whether this has any bearing on your situation, though. Sorry I can’t be of more help.
