WP-Matomo Integration Support for WordPress v6

  • Hi!
    With the release of WordPress version 6 several months ago, I was wondering if there were any plans to support WordPress v6 in the WordPress-Matomo Integration plugin?

    Currently, our WP-Matomo Integration plugin is not working since we upgraded our WordPress site to version 6.

    Also answering on that thread, since new wp version the plugin isnt working anymore
    Error 500 while connecting to self hosted server.
    It works on older WP versions and connexion with matomo works also with js script (without user_id)

    Any official information about this issue ?
    Did a fresh install of an On-Premise instance + WP-Matomo and stil no luck, the WP plugin can’t connect.
    Doing a cURL POST request on SitesManager.getImageTrackingCode do respond correctly.
    The official extension is now broken.

    After some testing, the only method in error from tests reported by @banzine is
    global.getPiwikVersion
    giving reponse
