WP Media Library – problems with ‘Save all changes’ – common problem?

  • I have uploaded some images using the WP Media Library whilst in a post, but am having trouble saving information via the ‘save all changes’ button.

    Once I have added a caption and changed the link to another page (not a file URL or Post URL but a different permalink) I click ‘save all changes’ but only the caption gets saved – not the link.

    This is causing me no end of troubles as I want to create a gallery on a page which the thumbnails relate to other posts – it seems odd that this function is not readily available!!

    Does ANYONE have any ideas? I’m quite stuck on this one!

    Anyone!?

    I am also having this problem when, for example, I try to change the url an image in the gallery points to. This works if I insert the image, but if I attempt to save and then insert the gallery, all changes are lost when I save.
