WP-Members and bbpress integrated user data?

Hello,
If I have WP-Members managing user registration and making certain areas of the site viewable to members only, can I also have members use the same username/password for logging onto the forums part of my site if the forum is done in bbpress? If so, how is this done?

For example, can user Jane Doe use the same username/password to log on to the general site, and then when she visits the Forums section it recognizes that she’s logged in and lets her post a question to the forum? Or does she need to log in separately to the forum?

(note that viewing the Forum content is unrestricted; users would just need to be a member to post to the forum)
