I reported this in your system but in case its driving others crazy..

it seems that if the WP_MEMORY_LIMIT is not defined in the wp-config.php file to begin with then instead of adding it where it should it adds define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘128’); to line 1 of wp-config.php.

If it is defined in the correct spot then it updates correctly. It seems some newer installs of wordpress do not have WP_MEMORY_LIMIT defined. Or at least the LiteSpeed versions dont.

    Hi,

Thanks for let me know and post in our support page.

If the plugin didn’t find the define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’…
    it look for this:
/* That’s all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */
    or
    define(‘WP_DEBUG…

If it didn’t find, the system should just fail and let the user know:
    Error_config . ‘Fail to Edit the WP-CONFIG.PHP…

Some hosting block the operation. I’m unable to understand what happens in your case.

Anyway, I suggest you run this free plugin:
    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wptools/

and look also the error log and maybe you can discovery what is wrong in your server.

Please, let me know if you have questions.

    Cheers,
    Bill
