• Hi Matt,

It appears that WP-Minify braeks Shadowbox, and the only way to make SB work is by disabling WP-Minify. Don’t understand why this might be happening since WP-Minify should simply be taking the Shadowbox JS and putting it into a single file with the rest of them.

Also, “Shadowbox JS – Use Title from Image” is not auto updating. Each time I try it update it says it’s successful, but then I check the updates page and it’s still there.

    Thanks.

I fixed the sub plugin issue a few minutes ago, as for WP-Minify, I may or may not look into a fix. An update may be pushed eventually to fix the compatibility issue with WP-Minify, but I cannot guarantee how fast it will be.

    Hi Matt,

    Thanks, the sub-plugin fix worked.

I understand that there are many other plugins that can break Shadowbox, particularly all of the various gallery or image-handling plugins. WP-Minify doesn’t do any of these, however, as it merely tries to consolidate JS (and CSS) into a single file for efficiency. I don’t know why this would break Shadowbox, but I can’t imagine it would be terribly hard to fix. All of my other JS-based plugins work fine with it.

If you do get a chance to look into it, it’d be appreciated. I’m happy to turn WP-Minify back on on my site if you need.

Thanks again for all your efforts, your plugin is the best lightbox-style available.

I just tested WP-Minify and cannot find any problems. I have tested locally and on my production site.

Are you using any special settings within WP-Minify past what the defaults are? If so provide a full detail of your WP-Minify configuration options.
