    Thanks for the great plugin, and thank you for looking at this support request.

    When I have Autoptimize enabled, the WP Mobile Detect plugin, which allows one to load or not load elements based on device type, doesn’t seem to work. When Autoptimize is disabled, the Mobile Detect plugin works fine.

    I have checked the FAQ. The Mobile Detect plugin is very simple, just two PHP files. No JS or CSS to exclude as far as I can tell.

    Am I missing something simple? I realize you can’t dive into every plugin compatibility issue, but any guidance would be appreciated.

    OK, let’s start with some questions;
    * do you have this issue on a live site and if so, can you share the URL?
    * can you try the 3 optimization types (HTML, CSS, JS) separetely to see if the problem is linked to one of those specifically?
    * do you have a page cache and does the problem remain if the page cache is off?
    * where can I find info about that mobile detect plugin?

    Frank,

    Thanks for the unbelievably fast response.

    I’m pretty sure now that I misdiagnosed the problem and that it involves the host’s caching. I’d clear the cache when I would make a change to Autoptimize, but I’m fairly certain now that it was the cache affecting the result, not Autoptimize.

    Sorry for the trouble, and thanks again for the great plugin.

    Best regards,

    Don
