WP Multisite – Fatal error on install

  • WordPress HTTPS plugin did not work correctly. For this WP multisite, there are currently only about 170 sites.

    Trying install, get memory error, even though I have now updated the memory size to 1024M in Plesk

    Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 72 bytes) in /var/www/vhosts/boschcentre.co.uk/httpdocs/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 1449

    The plugin seemed however to install.

    The SSL certificate is for boschauto.co.uk, which is mapped to boschcentre.co.uk/webstart

    When using Fast Contact Form on the page, the captcha image would not show.

    The plugin was showing as inactive but when trying to remove the plugin it would not let me, saying elements were active

    To Delete the plugin, I had to rename the folder on the server, then I was able to Unistall.

    Reluctant to reuse the plugin but need to make a form page HTTPS.

    I have used it on a smaller multisite, which seems to work. However I have yet to map a domain to it.
