WP Muulti-Site – Copy main site to sub site

  • I have an existing site which I want to clone on a sub site to use for development purposes.

    They appear as mydomain/wp/ and mydomain/wp/staging/ – although I am aware that the latter is a virtual URL.

    The sub-site already exists on a multi-site enabled installation of WP 3.4.2

    Will this plugin enable be to backup the main site and restore it to the existing sub-site or would it be better to create a new sub-site.

    Are there any special settings I should change to make this work?
