WP not loading from external server

  • Hi there!

    I’ve got three problems that might very well be connected.

    First of all, loading the dashboard is slow, and here’s probably why:
    The WordPress News cannot load the stuff. Looks like this:

    As well, trying to go to the “install new plugins” page wont work. Takes a very long time, and what I finally get to see is this:

    Same thing with the page for viewing new themes:

    I am using a very fresh and clean installation of WordPress 4.0. Haven’t done anything to it yet. Just uploaded this to my new web hotell account at Crystone. So I have really not used this before, and there cannot be anything added to the WP installation that causes problem. It’s just very fresh.

    I’ve tried increasing the PHP memory to 64M, as told here: https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/fix-wordpress-memory-exhausted-error-increase-php-memory/
    No result, so I went back to the normal wp-config again.

    I’ve looked for hours on the support forums and google, finding no results.

    Although, I can upload new plugins and themes through FTP but
    1) I don’t like it when something is wrong, that should work.
    2) This issue causes the admin pages to be very slow, since it tries to load things that wont work.

    Most of the problems resolved!

    The issues with looking at plugins and themes from www.ads-software.com within the admin pages was solved by the web hotell support.
    Issue: Bad routings on the server. After fixing that, everything works fine.

    However, the issue with the dashboard news is not solved by this. They still won’t load.

    As well, I’ve got an issue I’ve had with another web hotell as well. Guessing this is a server issue too. As I download a wordpress update, plugin, theme, or a plugin or theme update, my page stops at the download page. It should refresh when the download to my server is complete, and go back to the plugin/theme/update-page.
