wp-o-matic duplicate posts

  • I’m using version 2.7 and have integrated wp-o-matic to retrieve RSS feed updates to my blog. I’m getting duplicate posts, duplicate Title, pointing to the same post.

    I have researched this and found some quick fixes like replacing “$suffix = 2;” with “return 0;” on post.php but that took care of adding the -2 extension on duplicate titles but still posted the same titles twice without the -2 extension but were two different post #s pointing to the same link.

  • I’ve got the same problem. The “return 0;” worked with WordPress 2.5.1 however after an upgrade to 2.8.x that no longer works…

    FeedWordPress is simply a better plugin ??

    I don’t Mind FeedWordPress however the problem I run into is the POST from FeedWordPress in my blog use a separate Template for some reason and things like my BookMark Plugins at the bottom of pages don’t show up and a few other really odd things.
