    I’m using WP Offload Media Lite 2.3.1, and ever since 2.3 no media are being offloaded to S3.

    Some others had mentioned on here that they believe the ShortPixel plugin in conjunction with WP Offload was causing some sort of issue causing it to not offload the media to my S3 bucket.

    After reading that I deactivated ShortPixel and re-uploaded a new image. This time it did offload the .jpg(s) without issue. If I reactivate ShortPixel, the issue returns, it would not upload new .jpg/.png to the S3 bucket.

    Not sure why it’s happening, but thought I would mention it here in case it can be duplicated by support and fixed. I know others on the support forum here have had the same issue.

    I am experiencing the same situation described by @ande1352. I am running WP Offload Media Lite 2.3.1 and no images are being offloaded to S3. If I disable ShortPixel, then it offloads, reenable ShortPixel and it stops offloading again.

    We do not test with or support the ShortPixel plugin, but we hear that it has integration with WP Offload Media.

    Please raise this issue with ShortPixel.

    I’m sure they’d appreciate debug info when you contact them, i.e. try editing your wp-config.php file and replace this line –

    define( ‘WP_DEBUG’, false );

    With these lines –

    define(‘WP_DEBUG’, true);
    define(‘WP_DEBUG_LOG’, true);
    define(‘WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY’, false);

    Then reproduce the problem and supply the info logged to wp-content/debug.log

    If ShortPixel need help in resolving the issue we’re more than happy to help if they email us.

    Just thought I would follow up here. I opened a support case with ShortPixel about this issue. They stated that they were caught off guard by the new incompatible version of Offload Media and that they were working on a fix via ShortPixel. They were able to install a development version of the plugin on my site, and it fixed the issues I was having. They stated that they would be releasing an update to everyone soon after a few more bugs were worked out.

    If you are having similar issues with these two plugins, I’d recommend getting in contact with them, they were very helpful.
