• Ciao Folks,

after installing the WP-OpenID+ Plugin (Rev. 13), I tried to add an OpenID to my profile, so that I could use it to login. Strangly it always fails, even though I tried with differen OpenID providers.

I am always receiving, here for example with an ID from MyOpenID.com”Error: Could not discover an OpenID identity server endpoint at the url: https://myname.myopenid.com.”

Any ideas what might be the problem here?
In the plugin-options I receive the “Status information: All Systems Nominal” and the delegation through the Yadis plugin works as well.

Thanks in advance for any ideas

    Greetz

  • Are you using it with wordpress 2.2? If so, there are some known problems there. I’m working on a new major release that I hope to have out shortly (as in beta testing next week, stable release the following or so?)

Oh, did I forget to mention that. I am using WP 2.2.1, so I guess I will wait for your new release ??

Thanks for the great work though.

I am using 2.2.2 & get the same error. Any ideas on how to fix this?
