Hello, good morning, I’ve been using WP-Optimize for a long time and had never had a problem, but with the update of yesterday, I make a clean, and clean brand, but the database remains the same, As if it had never been cleaned, before the update was all Perfect, is there some way to downgrade to the 2.2.6 version or something to fix the error?.
    Thank you

  • I am also experiencing this same problem on our site. Database cleaning worked fine up until the latest update. Also, the WP-Optimize menu choice (top menu bar) in our admin has formatting problems after the update.

@n1fdadmin i found a way to back to 2.2.6, first desactivate and delete the plugin on yor website, then download this https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/wp-optimize.2.2.6.zip
and upload in your cpanel wp-content/plugins in the file “plugins” upload the zip and then extract, after you can delete the zip, and just activate on your website

Thanks, I am also facing the same problem

    Same problem on my site…

I am experiencing the identical problem. The plugin will remove post revisions and trashed comments, but it won’t optimize MyISAM tables, even the core WordPress ones. I’m able to perform that optimization through PHPMyAdmin, but not having to do that is part of the point of this plugin.

I just installed today’s update on our site but it did not fix this problem. The cleanup functions of the plugin no longer clean up anything.

@n1fdadmin thanks for the advise, i’m going to stay in 2.2.6 for a long time

    2.2.9 – 03/Jan/2019
FIX: Change a newly-introduced fragment that was not compatible with PHP 5.2
TWEAK: Tweak some other code that had PHP 5.2 compatibility issues

honestly, that update is not to fix our found error, I honestly do not like the new UI

Same problem, the DB optimization and the innoDB doesn′t work,

    Hi,

    Apologies for the delay.

Our developers are currently looking into this issue.

If anyone has any optimisation logs (which can be enabled in the Settings), please could you send us a copy?
The contents will be too long to post here directly, but you can use an online service such as Pastebin, and post the link here.

    Hi,

Same here, on several sites. I’m using the version 2.2.10.
The deletion of the post revisions, the trash content work but the optimization process seems to be interrupted. I set “log events to email” in the Settings. Only five lines :

[INFO] : 0 post revisions deleted
[INFO] : 0 posts removed from Trash
[INFO] : 0 spam comments deleted
[INFO] : 0 comments removed from Trash
    [INFO] : Optimizing: wp42_wftrafficrates

I went back to 2.2.6 and everything back to normal.

    Regards

    Same problem.
My database becomes huge (about 28 MB in normal times, now it’s 40 MB, and that increases). With Version 2.2.10 and the previous one

Problem fixed with the version 2.2.11!

    Thanks a lot!

Even with 2.2.11 the problem remains!

    Hi @frankeck ,

If you are using any caching plugins on the site, please could you clear the cache (specifically JavaScript cache)?
