Wp-options growing in size?

In my database, my wp-options table is growing a lot. It is right now at about 100 mb in size, and it is about 6 months old. We publish around 2 posts every day. I feel like this is way too big. My questions are:

1. Is this apotential problem?
2. How can I find out what is causing it to grow so much?
3. Any suggestions on how to fix it?
