wp pages

  • Hi,

    I’ve created an About me page, also named it ‘about me’ too but for some reason when viewing the page in my blog the URL shows blogname.com/sample-page instead of blogname.com/about-me.

    I did use the sample page but edited it and changed the name. How can I change the name??

    Also, I still have that ‘Just another wordpress blog’ in my header to the right hand side – how do I remove this? I had a header (the standard picture of a tree) but removed it so not sure why that is still there.

    Removed it how? Don’t edit the Twenty Ten theme! Your changes will be over-written the next time you upgrade WordPress or the theme. For this reason, it is recommended that you consider creating a child theme for your customisations.

    I just removed the header, so the picture is no longer there.
    I did this by going to Appearance – Header – Remove.

    Was I not supposed to do this??
