    Hey.

I’m using the WordPress Popular Post widget to display my most popular posts in the last 30 days. The problem is that the posts being displayed are not the most popular. My site stats shows that 3 out of 5 of the posts displaying should be different.

Any help or insight is much appreciated.

EDIT: I think I see the ‘problem’. “Click on each tab to see what are the most popular entries on your blog today, this week, last 30 days or all time since WordPress Popular Posts was installed.

I’ll need to wait 30 days for it to be in-line with actual views, right?

    Hi there,

Nope. WordPress natively doesn’t store the views count of each post, so I built this plugin to add this functionality to the blog. Because of that, any views generated before WPP can’t be tracked down. Hence the phrase “…since WordPress Popular Posts was installed”.

    Right, as I thought.

Thanks for the plugin – it’s great.
