WP-postratings not working on new posts

Sometime works, sometime doesn’t is the hardest to debug. But I am guessing more of a plugin conflict.

1. Try on the default theme without any other plugins to see if it works?
2. Why not switch to putting in the PHP code in your theme to see if it works?

Thank you for your help Lester. I know it is very extrange situation, that’s why I need some help…

1. I have deactivated all other plugins and it is still not working. The stars appear, in grey color, but I can not vote.
2. I am not sure on which file or position shall I add the code… that’s why I use the shortcode on my posts.

Did u accidentally set who is allowed to vote to registered users?

No Lester, I have just check the “Who Is Allowed To Rate” and it is set to “Registered Users and Guests”.
I have also tried and changed the configuration of “Ratings Logging Method” to “Do not log”, but the stars are still inactive in my last posts… (grey color, and not active when mouse moves on them).
The stars in the older posts are working well everytime. Maybe something internal in the new posts is not allowing the pluging working properly? All posts shall be exactly the same and work in the same way, so it makes no sense for me, but maybe…
You know your pluging very well and know possible things that can affect it. Thank you very much for your help.

P.S: I am still trying to switch to PHP code, just in case…

Are u using any caching plugin?

I too have this issue. I just started using it and it seemed great. However I have found a lot that it wont wor. I’ve been through many pages and added it manually because I don’t require it on every page. It just won’t let you vote. I have also tried loading on my phone and even the ones that did let me vote seem jammed and I cant vote again on my phone. I was using a caching plugin wp super cache, I tried disabling it and it didn’t make any difference. I always clear my browser cache. It seems there is no explanation? so I feel I have no choice but to delete them all and try a different system. @mlemin for your case you are using a plugin that minified and combined the JS and that messes with the overrall JS. Disable that and you will be fine.

ok thanks for the tip, i searched for it and the only one I found was autoptimise and disabling it hasn’t fixed it – what made you think that?..perhaps I can still hunt it out..

I am able to rate just fine now.
