I’m using Post Expirator 2.6.2 on a WP 5.8.2 site.

When creating a post I activate the Post Expirator and the default setting is applied: “replace category” and the target category is “Archive” … and I set the date for this action.

When opening this created post for editing the Post Expirator settings are the same.

But when opening the QuickEdit for this post I see as target categories for the “replace category” action the “Archive” AND the current category of this post activated.

When opening this post for editing I see in the Post Expirator settings:

    • only the Archive category if I clicked “Cancel” for closing the QuickEdit
    • the Archive AND the current category if I clicked “Update” for finalizing the QuickEdit

So I have to remove the current category and update the post.

This default inclusion of the current category is executed by the Post Expirator: looking for a post after the expiration date I can find it in its initial category and in the Archive category.

I updated to 2.6.3 and QuickEdit deals with the catgories of Post Expirator correctly.

    Thanks for fixing the issue.
