WP Retina 2x and Yoast SEO

    Hi,
    with the latest version of wp retina, there is an error in the backend. it’s visible in the plugin YOAST SEO, windows “dashboard”.
    The following code is visible in the footer :

    Dimensione massima di caricamento file: 3 MB.

  • I don’t think it’s Yoast SEO related because I’m seeing the same thing but on every admin page that I’ve checked (Dashboard, Add Post, etc.). It goes away when I deactivate WP Retina 2x. Didn’t see it before updating to the latest (4.5.8).

    Only Yoast SEO on my website.
    I did some testing. I’m sure, With the latest version of the WP Retina 2x. I think is the new “add full retina” function

    ops… i have update now at versione 4.5.8 and.. the problem is on every admin page!

    Same problem on my site… when I deactive the WP Retina 2x, the message is not displayed.

    I tried deactive Yoast SEO and leave the WP Retina too… no change… the error message appear.

    I think that the error is really on WP Retina 2x.

    yes, I confirm. I await a release. We hope soon.

    It’s the retina plugin causing the issue for us as well. I just uninstalled it and it fixes the problem. We will be moving away from using it in the future.

    It’s fixed in the latest version (updated a few seconds ago). By mistake, a new but unfinished feature has been added. For some reason, this feature triggers a WordPress bug which has been there for a while (this strange text at the bottom), I will be in touch with them.
