WP review causing performance issues of website

Hi,

For many months I have been using WP Review plugin with no issues, All of a sudden now I am getting slowdown of the backend loading and the dreaded Connection lost. Saving has been disabled until you’re reconnected. We’re backing up this post in your browser, just in case.
I have contacted my web host provider as I am not a technical guy with this. They checked my error logs and found an issue with this plugin I have tried to google for an answer but have got nowhere. I do get lucky sometimes and the error will disappear for a few moments allowing me to get my work uploaded but it is far and few between.
Any ideas?
