wp-rss2.php tutorial for newbie please?

Hello,
Just started using WP1.5 and have managed to create a post with a podcast enclosure. It works from the webpage [https://ayurvedahc.com/shakti/?cat=1], and it is found by ipodder. I have used a feed: ‘page.xml’ format for feed info…not sure if this is doing anything.

My question is how to understand, create and link the wp-rss2.php and wp-commentsrss2.php pages.

Here is what I have done to date:
In the post I added

“Podcast feed:
https://ayurvedahc.com/RadioAyS/Sanjoy/sadhana.xml

Sadhana“

2. in advanced I put

https://ayurvedahc.com/RadioAyS/Sanjoy/sadhana.mp3
and https://ayurvedahc.com/RadioAyS/Sanjoy/sadhana.xml but only the mp3 shows now.

3. in the custom field i put

key = enclosure; and value = https://ayurvedahc.com/RadioAyS/Sanjoy/sadhana.mp3

I know to put the rss2 & commentsrss2 pages in the url/shakti directory,

I tried to create an wp-rss feed but I dont know how to create a wp-commets feed.

The rssvalidator says:

This feed is valid, but may cause problems for some users. We recommend fixing these problems.
Feeds should not be served with the “text/html” media type

I dont know what this means.

So my questions are
1. how to create wp-rss2.php
2. how to create wp-commentsrss2.php
3. if after creating these, do I need to create separate feed pages for each podcast or is this a catchall?

I’ve read through the forum threads, and studied at https://podcastalley.com to get to this point. Now I am stuck.

A simple step by step example would be great for newbies like me. Many thanks.
