• Before I go any further, I have read the other posts in the WP support forums about this same issue.

I’ve also had this issue previously and resolved it.

    Previously resolved

However, after a couple of weeks, I’m going through the same thing again, but this time, the fixes are not working. I had no changes since the last time I logged in, my webhost hasn’t made any changes (talked to them yesterday).

I’ve run through all the suggestions previously in the forum, and still cannot login to my site.

I do not want to go through this every couple of weeks. I am coding deficient and the frustration of trying to figure this out is … well, stressful.

Is there some way to force the installation to IGNORE the cookie requirement or just not ask for it based on a user login name?

I’m the only user, no others are approved or will be. I can’t do this every couple of weeks.

    – I don’t use W3 Total Cache (mentioned in other threads with this issue)
    – I do use WP Fastest Cache & Autoptimize, both disabled right now.
    – I use WP Simple Firewall, currently disabled.
    – I also use Cloudflare, and I’m wondering if this might be causing an issue (was in use previously)

  • You might try to briefly turn off Cloudflare and test your login. I have seen login issues with CF here on the forums.

Thanks again. I did turn it off, but it hasn’t helped.

Although I managed to get in the last time, I never did figure out exactly WHY it happened, or exactly what fixed it.

Without knowing that, I was afraid this would happen again, and it has.

At least it recognizes my username and password this time.

I just want to be able to resolve this so it doesn’t keep happening. Spending several days trying to get back into my account every couple of weeks isn’t exactly what I’d like to spend my time doing.

If there weren’t so many images to re-upload, I’d be dumping WP at this stage, and trying something else.

I’m sure it’s probably something in WP – even disabling the theme didn’t help.

    Please … somebody … anybody.

    HOW can I fix this?

I have no idea what more I CAN do.

I’ve changed the password. It’s not recognized. I’ve done everything suggested in all the other similar threads.

    Nothing works.

    Alternatives please?
