WP says page doesn't exist, when it does

  • Hi,

    I just discovered that certain pages (the ones that have a parent page) show up as “This page doesn’t exist. Initlally I changed the permalink settings to default and that seemed to help but only if I use the short link…not the original link.

    When I change the page from having a parent page to no parent page, it showed up. I’d like to use the parent pages though!

    Please help!

    Are saying the defaulr setting works? Yes? Then try reading Using_Permalinks before setting a custom permalink structure again.
