    Hey there
I live in Asia and i see that the server is located in the USA which is running my WordPress site.

So I want to schedule a post on say 20 JAN @ 10AM Local time

I have set the time zone in settings > general to the correct timezone

    so it says the following

UTC time is 2016-01-17 05:54:40 Local time is 2016-01-17 11:24:40

Now what time should I use to schedule a post if i want to post according to my local time?

Do i still have to calculate it or It won’ be necessary

  • UTC time is 2016-01-17 05:54:40 Is Greenwich England, which is where the 24 time zones start from.

Local time is 2016-01-17 11:24:40 is where your server in the USA is, probably the western US.

If you go to Settings > General and find “Timezone”, the dropdown list will either have your city or have a city close to you. Choose that city and the time zone will automatically default to that city on all your posts.

When you schedule a post, it’s scheduling to the timezone you have set at Settings -> General.

So, if you have already set the timezone to your time, and you want it to publish at 10 AM your time, you simply schedule the post for 10 AM. ??
