• Hi there… I’m not an uber WP developer so bear with me.

A site that my company set up for a client is using the wp seo plugin. Great stuff… usually.

In Google Search results there are some entries coming up that are the slider images that we used. Furthermore when you click on those links they go to the site and the image is blacked out. I’m not saying that the plugin is causing that but I am wondering if the indexing of these images and showing as results in search is due to the plugin.

We don’t want those results to pop up. The theme used is “Cosmopolitan” By Ignitethemes & Weblusive.

The slider is set up in a say that each image uses a post type page to enter the image on. Of course the WP SEO options are on those entry page. Thus my conclusion brings me to asking out here if this may be correct thinking.

If its the root of the issue. Then how would we be able to block those from being shown or indexed or what? That’s where my knowledge pretty much cuts off.

Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.

    M
