The integration with WP Simple Pay does not seem to work correctly.

If you select WP Simple Pay as a trigger and choose “User completes a purchase through any form” then the automation does not fire when someone does complete a form.

You can also not select any particular form as whilst it says you can search for the WP Simple Pay form, none come up as it does not seem to index the titles. If you select one of the blank titled forms from the dropdown (by choosing the form with the right ID), the automation again does not fire.

I can’t determine whether the rest of the integration works properly or not as I can’t get past this first hurdle. However, there does not seem to be a way to use any of the data from the additional form fields in a WP Simple Pay form (such as phone number or address) and use that elsewhere.

This plugin has been great for other automations I use such as with RCP and TutorLMS, but WP Simple Pay seems completely broken ??

    Hi @primitivenet

I would be more than happy to assist you today.

Seems that WP Simple Pay have changed the way they notify about successful form completions and the way they store that forms.

But do not worry about it, our team is already working to update this integration to match with the latest changes and get everything working back again so in around 1 or 2 days we will get this completely fixed for you ??

    Hi @primitivenet

Doing some tests with the latest WP Simple Pay version we found that the trigger is working correctly, the unique thing that does not work if the display of the form title because now is stored in a different field and our team is already preparing an update to fix that, but the trigger is getting triggered correctly.

So for trigger, how have you setup your automation? As a logged in or as an anonymous automation?

Hi @rubengc I must say this is the best support I could imagine – thanks for the prompt replies!

For this automation, I have set it up with logged-in users:
Trigger: User completes a purchase through any form 1 time(s) (Wp Simple Pay)
    Actions:
Send an email to {28:post_author_email} (WordPress)
    Add {28:post_author_email} to list (MailPoet)
    Send email to admin (WordPress)

WP Simple Pay did not seem to have any triggers for non logged in users?

It is not that any particular one of these actions fails, it’s that the automation is just not triggered?

    You’re welcome @primitivenet !

Have you chekced the logs at AutomatorWP > Logs?

Also, the automation has a setting at top right of the screen named “Times per user”, this setting by default is set to 1 and defines how many times the same user can launch the automation, have you checked if you have already reached that limit?

    (@primitivenet)

Times per user was set to 1, but as it was never triggered that was not the issue. I’ve now set it to 100 to be safe.

There is nothing at all in the logs for this automation – which is why I feel it is not being triggered?

When you test WP Simple Pay is anything actually being triggered? I’m using WP Simple Pay pro if that makes any difference?

For a logged-in trigger, does the user actually need to be logged in? In this case, I’m just trying to trigger an action after someone completes a sale, they may not be logged in?

    Thanks

    Hi @primitivenet

mmm I tested this myself with WP Simple Pay free, I just got in touch with the WP Simple Pay team to get access to the latest version of pro

Just to confirm, the payment is marked as completed right? Anyway, tomorrow we will launch a new update to fix the title display and as soon we get access to the pro version, then we will update it again if needed

Thank you so much for your patience!

Thanks @rubengc – appreciate the quick help.

Hopefully the update fixes things. Happy to share a login or something if that would help find the issue.

Great @primitivenet but do not share it here since is a public forum, the best would be to open a support ticket privately from our website here:
