WP site is incredibly slow would appreciate help.

    Thank you for reading.

    I have installed a WP site on a Godaddy Windows Dedicated server running PHP 5.4, the theme is Jupiter.

    The Home page is almost acceptable in loading time but still considered slow.

    However the main issues are the other pages. Example the Information > About the Founder page. It is just text with one small image. Crazy slow.

    I have tried Super-cache and W3-cache but neither make a difference.

    I have modified PHP.ini as follows ;

    memory_limit = 256M
    realpath_cache_size = 32k
    mysqli.cache_size = 2000

    Could it be a mySQL type database issue ? Is there anything I can run that improves database speed ? Just a guess and perhaps not relevant.

    I really would appreciate some help on this as it is causing real issues here.

  • There are few website performance testings out there. I personally used Google Page Insight before to find causes of slow down. Take a look at the report for your website here.

    Hopefully that will give you an idea.

    Tries that however it seems to be telling me to Minify things that are already minified.

    So I am still at the very slow site state ??

    Disabled the Revolution Slider and it is very fast now even without any caching plugins.
