    Glad to help.

This plugin does only one thing: it disables the sitemap that is automatically generated by WordPress. The entire plugin code is just one line. If the plugin is active, then the WP sitemap is disabled. If the plugin is *not* active, ..then it depends on your setup whether or not a sitemap is generated.

That in mind, you might try temporarily deactivating all plugins and try again. Because it sounds like some other plugin, possibly an SEO-type plugin, is adding a sitemap for your site. So some basic troubleshooting of your theme and plugins will help you find whatever is doing it. I would be glad to provide a free guide if it might be useful for you.

I hope this helps, let me know if I can provide any further information.

    Hi

I see what you mean, and I understand.

I did what you advised but it seems that is the same:

    https://www.fernandocol.com/sitemap.xml

    https://www.fernandocol.com/wp-sitemap.xml”

Or it a memory that GSC have and with time it will go away or both sitemap are live in some way.

Let’s see what happens in time.

    Thanks for your time

    HI

    Let me correct:

    “htpps://www.fernandocol.com/sitemap.xml

    https://www.fernandocol.com/wp-sitemap.xml”

Sorry but that “&#8221” does not belong and I do not know how it it appears when I submit.

Ok so when all plugins are disabled and the the theme is one of the default WP themes, the site should have a sitemap that is generated by WordPress. It sounds like that is what is happening here..?
