WP sites on Local by Flywheel suddenly runs very very slowly

I’ve been using Local by Flywheel to build my site for a little while and recently sites start to run very slowly. In the past 2 days it was so slow that it took minutes, sometimes plus 1-2 refresh, to just load a simple post page with text and some photos. To load a page with post grid, the page literally got stuck and never was able to display the grids. Flywheel support was not very forthcoming on this and I’m not sure if they can really help / resolve. Can anyone help with this, please? Thank you.
