WP Snapshots

    Hi

    My filesize for my backups seem huge. Can I delete things in the WP Snapshots area ?

    If I copy them manually from that directory via FTP, can I just delete everything in there afterwards.

    What is the purpose of WP Snapshots ?

    There seems to be 60MB of info in there.

    Or is Snapshots initially created when you RESTORE a website (as I see some of my backup program files in there)

    Are you using Duplicator? I think those are the snapshots created by Duplicator.

    Hi there,

    WooCommerce doesn’t have any “Snapshot” functionality and I suspect this might be powered by a separate plugin altogether. I recommend getting in touch with the developers of that plugin (or your hosting provider) for information on the best way forward.

    Yes I do use Duplicator and Backupbuddy.

    I have removed this content now wasn’t sure whether it was going to affect the website.
