    Hi,

I used WP Staging and it created a whole new subdirectory for my website… apparently it did not create a staging site. Now that staging site is the primary site, but all the webpages are stuck in a subdirectory and I don’t know how to fix it. In WordPress it doesn’t allow me to fix the URL for the webpages. Any advice? Thank you!

    Hi @gflaxman
I’m not sure I can understand your problem. Did you use WP STAGING to create a staging site in a sub-directory? The worst case that would happen is that you didn’t get a working staging site, but your live site isn’t touched during this process.

What do you mean by this part:

“Now that staging site is the primary site”

This can’t happen using the free version of WP STAGING, or did you use another plugin/tool to push the staging site to the live site?

If you have a problem with your live site, rest assured it’s not because of “your attempt creating a staging site”; however, feel free to share with us your website’s system information from (WP STAGING > System Info) via this form with all the details about your issue, and we will try to help you from there.

    Thanks,
    Alaa

That’s the correct form. We missed the link in previous message:-)
