Wp Staging plugin not working

    hello and Namaste
    very recently i installed and activated Wp Staging plugin so that i could try things out with staging site rather than the my live one
    however, after cloning was done and when i tried to go to my cloned/staging site it showed error with the swift performance lite
    why is this happening could you please help coz with swift performance i cannot download wp staging which literally means i have to do everything on my live site
    i dont want to get rid of swift coz i love it

    Most likely you need to uninstall Swift from dev installation and have a clean / new Swift installation. Can you see if that solve this issue.

    thank you so much
    i actually did uninstalled and installed the new swift and configured it
    BUT I STILL GET THE BELOW MESSAGE
    “Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class Swift_Performance_Lite in /home/nepalpyramids/public_html/pranjali2019/wp-content/plugins/swift-performance-lite/performance.php on line 12”

    Did you uninstall it completely, before reinstall?

    However, for staging you don’t really need caching. Just disable it. It′s est practice for developer environments.
