WP Statistics disappeared

    Hi,

    we noticed today that WP Statistics isn’t there anymore in our WordPress Dashboard. Yesterday night it tried to actualize (from version 14.5 to 14.5.1), which according to the mail I got, worked out. But obviously it has not worked out perfectly ?? I found out, that our webspace was almost full tonight. Maybe that caused the problem. But I emptied it today and the plugin still doesn’t appear. If I access via FTP, I can still see the folder in the plugin folder. But I don’t see it in my WordPress Dashboard. I also can’t install the plugin newly. And I already tried downloading the current “WP Statistics” folder via FTP, delete it and upload it again, which didn’t work.

    Does anyone have an idea? ?? If it is not possible to get back a working plugin, does anyone know how to get the old statistics, so at least we can have a look at them and then use a new plugin?

    You also have to check whether you have limited the upload size via php.ini. If so, that can also cause problems.

    Hello G?sta, thank you very much for your idea! Unfortunately I can’t find a php.ini. I have read that some hosts do not provide it, can that be? In any case, I have checked my memory limit via “Site Health”, which is 512M. I also tried to change it via wp-config, but the plugin still doesn’t work.

    Hi Jonathan,

    wenn ich mir noch einmal so deine Fehlerbeschreibung durchlese, dann solltest du auf jeden Fall schauen, dass immer ausreichend Platz auf Deinem Server zur Verfügung steht. L?uft der voll kann das zu diversen Fehlern führen, immer da wo Dateien geschrieben werden müssen (Cache ect. oder Updates). Prüfe bitte auch die Datei- und Ordnerberechtigungen. Ordner 755, Dateien 644. Zum Installieren des Plugins, kannst Du es auch komplett aus dem plugins Ordner l?schen > per FTP neu rein kopieren und anschlie?end im Plugin Manager aktivieren.

    Hallo G?sta,

    das Plugin runterzuladen und wieder hochzuladen hat leider nicht geklappt, es ist nie bei den Plugins aufgetaucht. Ich habe aber WordPress nochmal geupdated und danach konnte ich WP Statistics neu installieren und sehr erfreulicherweise waren sogar noch die alten Statistiken da!
