WP-Statistics not working with iThemes Security

  • I am using wp-statistics from a couple of months ago. Your plugin was working fine. I am worried about website security. Then I install iThemes Security plugins (free version).

    After configuring the plugins, wp-statistics is not working properly. All-time show the same visitor-related information. When I deactivate iTheme, then wp-statistics is working fine as before.

    I try to solve the problem via google search. But I can’t find any valid information related to the issue. Can you please solve the problem??

    Hello, I have the same problem, When I activate iThemes security, WP Statistics stop to work, If I deactivate iThemes Security, WP Statistics start to work again.

    also, there is no error_log file.

    I am sorry for the delayed reply.

    I found out why WP-Statistics doesn’t show visitor-related data. To display visitor-related information, WP-Statistics plugins use the REST API service of WordPress. When iThemes Plugins is activated, it restricts access to the REST API service.

    So WP-Statistics can’t display visitor-related information while iThemes is running. I searched the internet a lot, how to specify REST API namespaces to be allowed if REST API is disabled with iThemes. I’m sorry because I didn’t get anything like that.

    Dear jvalen36,

    You can use “WP Cerber Security, Antispam & Malware Scan” security plugins. It allows specifies REST API namespaces if REST API is disabled.
