• I went to check my stats and all the top posts and pages are all numbers and link to nothing but the root url. No posts, just random numbers are showing up.

It was working fine the past couple of weeks, but now it’s spewing out random numbers where the name of the post is supposed to go.

Would it have something to do with switching to permalinks?

  • Hello. Was this one ever resolved? I just upgraded to WordPress 2.5 and I’m seeing exactly the same issue.

I use a custom permalink of the form “/index.php/archives/%post_id%” and I’ve been using it all the way through 2.3. I’m confused why the stats have suddenly broken in this way in 2.5.

Actually having just asked, I found the other thread describing the same problem but with more comments. Someone suggested that if they re-save each post then the Stats plugin starts picking up the titles again.

It seems to work for me, and it’s retrospective in the sense that listings that were shown as numbers for yesterday’s stats now show with their proper titles. It’s a bit annoying having to go back through all my posts and pages, but I guess it’s one way at least.
