    Yes, I already have. I realise that everywhere I look the numbers are different but the disparity between Google and WP Stats is enormous. I have heard that others say that Google is inaccurate – something to do with Javascript – but that doesn’t help when potential business partners use Google and thus don’t rate you.
    I don’t have the time or knowledge to get into the technicalities, I just want to find out why this happens and what I can do about it, if anything. When I quote my WP stats they don’t believe it as they are so reliant on Google. I expect many others experience this.

    There is no perfect way for calculating hits, Google Analytics and WP Statistics take very different approaches to it.

    If your business partners are more comfortable with Google, then that relationship is probably more important than the technical differences between analytics.

    Any discussion beyond what’s in the FAQ about the differences will inherently be highly technical and possibly even site specific.
