WP statistics has disappeared

I have used WP statistics in a blog for some months without problem, but after the last update of the plugin some days ago all statistics har disappeared. I have inactivated and activated the wp statistics plugin and I have even uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin but statistics doesn′1 appear in the wp-admin menu bar. How do I get the statistics back again?
