WP Subscribe Something went wrong error

    I seem to be having an issue, I have added the API and the list ID for Mailchimp. When I enter the info and press the sign up button, I get this error”Something went wrong.” How can I fix this issue? Help is always appreciated.

    Hello,

    It is possible that you are not including name field, only email and you have name field required in MailChimp settings.

    If so, you need to either enable name field in widget settings or make name field optional in MailChimp dashboard ( go to “Lists”, select your list, go to Settings -> List fields and *|MERGE|* tags, and make sure only email field is required https://take.ms/GRCpU ).
