WP Subscriber creates temporary playlist?

  • I’m trying to decide if WP+plugins can server a relatively small number of subscribers who would be allowed to pick 10-20 MP4s from a universe of 100-150 MP4s, then play them and the playlist goes into the trash when they log off.

    This would be implemented in self-hosted mode, probably using DreamHost.

    The end-purpose is to provide a group of musicians with a platform they can take into a hospital, hospice, or nursing home and use a tablet or smartphone to select a few songs for a “customized mini-concert”.

    We know we can do this sort of thing with SD memory cards, but inventory/updating multiple musicians seems antiquated if we can provide a stream on-demand.
